This carefully curated 8-day honeymoon combines the conservation-rich wilderness of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy with the extraordinary wildlife and romance of the Maasai Mara during the July migration season.
Your journey begins in Nairobi before flying north to Sirikoi, where three nights bring together exceptional wildlife, private safari experiences, guided walks, conservation and intimate bush dining.
From Lewa, you fly directly to the Maasai Mara for three nights at Ishara Mara. Here, your honeymoon unfolds beside the Talek River, with private game drives, a complimentary professional photoshoot, a couples’ spa experience and the opportunity to witness the Mara at one of the most exciting times of the year.
The final day allows you to return to Nairobi in comfort, with a private day room at Manzili House before your international departure.
Upon arriving at the Jomo Kenyatta International and you will be met by our Airport representative and assisted through Immigration & Customs. Your driver will be waiting at the arrivals and you will be assisted with your luggage to the waiting private vehicle. A short transfer brings you to Manzili House for a quiet first night; recover, exhale, and let East Africa start gently.
Breakfast at Manzili house and your driver will transfer you to Wilson airport. A scenic light-aircraft flight north over Mount Kenya delivers you into Lewa; 62,000 acres of private conservancy with one of the highest densities of black rhino in Africa. An afternoon game drive eases you into safari rhythm.
At Sirikoi, days are as action-packed or as relaxed as desired. The lodge offers a range of activities to experience the wildlife, explore the wilderness and understand the culture of the local communities. These include Guided Game Drives u2013 day and night, Guided Bush Walks (weather dependent) Bird Watching, Bush Meals, Picnic Excursions and Sundowners. Between the activities, you will get a chance to swim in the heated Infinity Swimming Pool while watching wildlife or even a workout in the gym.

This morning, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the renowned Maasai Mara. Landing at Olkiombo airstrip, a short game drive brings you to Ishara, an intimate haven of understated luxury on the banks of the Talek River, in the very heart of the reserve. Settle into your suite, copper bathtub, river views and elephants at the water's edge,before lunch and an afternoon game drive across the Mara's vast grasslands
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures and heightened wildlife activity. Return to camp for breakfast and time to yourselves,a couples treatment at the Aya Spa, the Nordic spa's sauna and plunge, or simply the heated pool overlooking the plains. This afternoon, join Ishara's resident photographers for your complimentary honeymoon photoshoot in the golden light of the Mara.
A final full day among lion, leopard, cheetah and elephant, with Ishara's Canon photography studio and equipment at your disposal to capture it all. Depending on the season, position at the Mara River in the hope of witnessing the dramatic crossings of the Great Migration.
