From Nairobi, the journey moves north into the warm, dramatic terrain of Samburu's Northern Frontier District ,wilder and less visited than Kenya's more famous reserves, before the vast golden grasslands of the Masai Mara deliver the safari experience in its purest, most elemental form. On arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative will be on hand to greet you and escort you by road to Giraffe Manor. The journey takes around thirty minutes, passing along the edge of Nairobi's world-famous National Park.
Breakfast happens early and it’s worth every minute. On this day, you will get a chance to have breakfast with the Giraffes! Thereafter, your driver will transfer you to Wilson Airport for a scheduled shared flight to Sasaab in Samburu-Northern Kenya. Your guide will meet you and transfer you to the lodge for a 3nights stay
Morning and afternoon game drives. Game drives through Samburu's dramatic northern landscape bring you face to face with remarkable wildlife diversity, including the region's celebrated Special Five.
Fuel up with a wilderness breakfast as the sun climbs, or wind down with sundowners against a backdrop of endless open skies. (The more adventurous can tear up dry riverbeds on quad bikes or venture deep into remote northern Kenya by private helicopter — landscapes so wild and untouched they have to be seen to be believed-at an extra cost)
After breakfast, leave from Sasaab Lodge on another scheduled shared flight to the Masai Mara. Take in the epic views as you fly into Keekorok Airstrip, before enjoying a game drive on the way to camp. Enjoy 3 nights at Salas Camp

After enjoying a final early morning game drive or a leisurely breakfast in camp, leave for Keekorok Airstrip for your scheduled shared flight back to Wilson Airport. A driver will be waiting to meet you at Wilson Airport and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your return flight home. Your departure time will depend on when your international flight departs Nairobi.
