Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after clearing with Immigration and customs, you will be welcomed by a Swissport airport representative who will assist you to the waiting vehicle. Your Virgin Wilderness Safaris driver/guide will provide documentation with information regarding your safari. He will then transfer you  to Wilson Airport for your Scheduled flight departing for Amboseli National Park.
Elewana’s Tortilis Camp has a prime location for witnessing the majesty of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis, and embraces a hill in one of Amboseli’s areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland. Located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the national park and in the conservancy, where guests enjoy exclusivity. The en-suite tents are spacious, comfortable and offer views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park covers 392 sq kms, only a small portion of the surrounding 3000 sq km of the Amboseli ecosystem. Tortilis Camp is on the south western edge of the park, facing the mountain and is accessed from within the National Park. It overlooks its own private wildlife conservancy, Kitirua, 30,000 acres. Away from the busy eastern side of Amboseli, and with its own private conservancy, guests experience a wild and private.
On this day, your guide will transfer you back to the airstrip where you will catch your scheduled flight back to Wilson airport. On arrival, you will connect to another flight departing at 10:20 am for Lewa Downs. A guide from Elewana Lewa Safari Camp will be waiting to transfer you to  the Camp.
Elewana Lewa Safari Camp is the only tourist facility within the Conservancy that is owned by the Conservancy. Profits and conservancy fees generated by the camp are reinvested directly into the conservation and community efforts of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
Visitors to Lewa are privy to some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing that Kenya has to offer: lion, leopard and jackal thrive on the rich diversity of prey that inhabits the area. The Wildlife Conservancy is home to the largest concentration of Grevy’s zebra in the world, and its range of habitats attracts diverse birdlife and hosts over 130 Black and White rhino.

On this day, your guide will transfer you to the Lewa Downs for your scheduled flight departing for the Masai Mara. After take-off you will you will fly over the Great Rift Valley and the conservancies around Maasai Mara. Look out for the elephants and giraffes that are easily visible from the sky!
The Sand River Camp team will await you at the airstrip in the Maasai Mara. Freshen up in your tent, and as soon as you want you'll leave on your first Game Drive into the Maasai Mara. Located on the banks of a river from which it has taken its name, Sand River Masai Mara is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border.Sand River Masai Mara is quite literally on the Migration route and guests are often fortunate to be able to watch wildebeest and zebra crossing the Sand River from the comfort of their tent verandah.
Situated on a secluded and picturesque site, Sand River Masai Mara replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s.The interior fixtures and furnishings mirror this period perfectly, reminding all who visit of those countless Hollywood movies that have paid homage to a classic era of African adventure.

After your last activity in the Masai Mara, you will bed farewell to your hosts at Sand River Camp and your guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your scheduled flight departing at 11:00 for Nairobi-Wilson airport landing at 12:20. Your Nairobi driver will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your flight back home.
(Depending on your international flight times, you can have the driver/guide and the vehicle at your disposal for this afternoon for some sightseeing and shopping in Nairobi or a Day room at one of the major hotels near the airport- all at a minimal extra cost)
